What's shipped in Waqt, and what we're building next. Waqt is actively developed — this page is updated with every release.

What's next

These are directions we're actively working toward, not committed dates. Waqt is iOS-first by design — see the pricing section on the homepage if Android matters to you.

Release history

  1. Version 1.6.1

    Current
    • • Fajr lateness tracking — a new tab shows how close to adhan you're praying Fajr each day, with a trend narrative ('you're waking up earlier — keep going')
    • • Missed-prayer widget nudge — if a prayer window closes unmarked, the widget now shows 'Missed Fajr — 2h late, pray now' instead of silently counting down to the next prayer
    • • Redesigned Home and Alarms screens for a clearer, calmer layout
    • • Real city name shown on Home instead of generic 'GPS Location'
    • • New History view to look back on past days
  2. Version 1.6

    • • Home & Lock Screen widgets shipped — see your next prayer and countdown at a glance, and mark it prayed right from the widget
    • • Real 7-day free trial for Premium (smart alarms, end-time warnings, Live Activities)
    • • In-app feedback button and widget setup guide added
  3. Version 1.5
